This year’s conference expedition is coming up soon, on September 23-25. It is being held at Yengo National Park north of Sydney, and the feature activity will be rogaining. Pathfinders are divided into teams and given a map which shows a number checkpoints which have been set up in surrounding area. Each checkpoint is worth a specified number of points. Each team plans their own route to suit their capabilities and to maximise their points, then sets off to navigate and hike the route.
Applications for the expedition go the conference. The application fee is $35 per person if you register by August 22, or $60 if you register after that and before the deadline of September 5. The registration process is similar to the one we use for our club camps, except that if there are several members of your family going, you’ll have to register and pay for each person separately.
Applications for this camp have now closed.
