February Camp at Seven Mile Beach

The excitement is building! Our first camp for the year is coming up very soon, on February 14-16. We’re heading to Seven Mile Beach at Gerroa, on the south coast between Kiama and Nowra. Our camp site is nestled between the ocean and Crooked River, so of course we’re planning to spend plenty of time in the water. The campground is equipped with toilets and showers.

What to bring

Bring everything you need to be self-sufficient for the weekend, including food, clothes, cooking gear and sleeping gear. Come prepared for water and sun, so bring swimmers, a towel, sunscreen and a hat. You’re also welcome to bring a noodle, body board or inflatable thingy to use in the water, and bring snorkelling gear if you have it. We also recommend a pair of aqua shoes or an old pair of sneakers to wear in the water.

How to pack

Try to minimise the number of bags you bring. Ideally you’ll fit all your gear into one duffel bag, except for your noodle and folding chair. If you want to bring your food in a separate zip-top insulated tote bag, that’s okay too. Please label everything clearly with your name.

Ready to apply?

To apply for this camp, push that big orange button below. Remember that everyone who is coming to the camp (Pathfinders, parent helpers and leaders) needs to complete the application form. The deadline for applications is February 9. The application fee is $25 per person. If you have any questions, please contact Megan.

Any parents wishing to attend must contact Megan before lodging an application. We can accommodate a limited number of parents on a first-come-first-served basis, depending upon the number of Pathfinders who apply. All parent helpers need their own sleeping and cooking gear, although the club can supply you with a tent.

Applications for this camp have now closed.
