As part of World Pathfinder Day, our club is visiting Adventist Aged Care Wahroonga to run an afternoon program and visit with residents. Parents are invited to this event to help us bring joy to those who might not get many visitors.
There is a lunch at Castle Hill Adventist Church on this date if you would like to join us for church at 11am and then stay for lunch around 12:30pm. We would leave church at 2pm ready for a 2:30pm start at AdventCare Wahroonga. Parents are requested to transport their Pathfinders and join in with singing etc in the afternoon program. If this is not possible, we may be able to provide transport with a return to Castle Hill church.
Uniform
Field uniform is to be worn to AdventCare Wahroonga (the polo, not the camping t-shirt please, with smart casual pants/shorts/skirts, shoes).
Program
- 12:30pm – Lunch in the hall, change into field uniform (optional)
- 02:00pm – Depart Castle Hill Adventist Church
- 02:20pm – Meet at Adventist Aged Care, 79 Mt Pleasant Ave, Wahroonga (required)
- 02:30pm – Program at Adventist Aged Care (required)
- 04:00pm – Afternoon tea
- 04:30pm – Depart for Castle Hill church (required for those coming to the Pathfinder Fair)
- 05:00pm – Arrive at Castle Hill church for Fair practice and dinner (only required for those coming to the Pathfinder Fair)
- 07:30pm – Pick up Pathfinders
Bring
- Water bottle
- Packed dinner (only for those coming back to church for Fair practice)
- Runners and more casual shorts/pants for doing Fair practice
